After 5 years of non-blogging, We are going to venture in again. I intend to share my memorys and occassionally my opinions about shortwave listening and dxing based on my 50 years of monitoring almost all bands.
Welcome Hello friends. Shortwave listening has been one of the big thrills of my life. I am now in late 50's and have been SWL'ing for over 40 years now. I've seen many changes in those 40 plus years in the hobby, but one of the most exciting has been listening to remote radio receivers set up all over the world to be controlled by the radio enthusiast at home on his computer. What a spectacular blend of old and new. For almost ten years now, I have been spreading the word to the shortwave listening community, telling anyone who will listen about the remote radios on the internet. I am glad to have lived to see the day. I have been writing about these marvelous receiver sites in club bulletins, on blogs and websites, as well for wring articles and newsletters for the now-defunct Super-network known as Javaradio ( no relation to Sun Microsystem Java Radio ), Javoradio, DXTuners. I have decided to start this blog to tell all my shortwave radio friends about all web receivers. There are many bad link lists on web receivers, I will make this a site that will keep us all informed on all the doings in web receivers.
